Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to make an immediate impact working with K-12 students in an onsite, school-based setting. This contract position supports students with mild to moderate needs through an Early Intervention Program, allowing you to help shape communication skills at a crucial stage in their development. This is a full-time role, with a 7.5-hour workday, perfect for professionals who are ready to get started as soon as possible.
Qualifications & Skills:
Holds a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC strongly preferred) Experience working in a school setting, encompassing K-12 or early intervention Knowledge of assessment, development, and implementation of IEPs Familiarity with providing services to students with mild to moderate speech and language needs Excellent collaboration skills, working closely with special education teams, teachers, and parents Strong communication and organizational abilities Current credentials to practice as a
Speech-Language Pathologist Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students onsite Evaluate and assess students' speech-language development and needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Participate in parent meetings and IEP reviews
