Job Description

Step into a rewarding Speech-Language Pathology role for the 2026-2027 school year supporting students near Saint Helens, OR. Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive school-based speech-language evaluations, conduct assessments, and manage IEPs. Provide direct therapy to students across one or two campuses, ensuring a positive impact on communication skills. Supervise and mentor an on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), supporting their growth and maintaining high standards of care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to develop effective treatment plans and foster student success. Complete a blend of direct service and indirect administrative duties each week, with paid prep and meeting time.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required. Current Oregon State SLP license, or eligibility to obtain one before your start date. Must be able to work on-site at least four days per week; the fifth day may be remote for administration. Previously cleared or willing to complete fingerprinting and background checks prior to beginning the assignment. Ability to provide direct supervision to an SLPA is essential. (This position does not support Clinical Fellow [CF] candidates at this time.)
