9505721-97056 Job Description Step into a fulfilling position supporting K-5 students for the 2026/2027 school year! This full-time contract opportunity allows you to make a difference in the lives of approximately 80-85 students. Youll work primarily at one main site, with some duties at a nearby charter school, and have the benefit of collaborating with a dedicated, full-time SLPA for enhanced support. Experience meaningful work in a collaborative school setting, where your expertise helps shape student success. As the primary SLP, your contributions will be integral in guiding and developing effective communication strategies for students, ensuring all receive the interventions they need.
What Youll Bring:
Current SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred Strong understanding of K-5 developmental communication milestones Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to supervise and mentor SLPA staff
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Conducting comprehensive speech/language assessments and evaluations Developing and implementing IEPs tailored to individual student needs Leading and facilitating IEP meetings with staff and families Overseeing and providing guidance to a full-time SLPA Supporting students across one main school and a charter campus Maintaining organized records and providing consistent documentation This position promises a rewarding, supportive environment and the chance to work alongside dedicated professionals.
