A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Are you looking for a position that allows you to make a difference in the lives of children? U.S. Healthcare Services provides both in-home and community-based therapy services to children in Early Intervention (birth - 3 years old). We are currently seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to provide Early Intervention services in Lehigh County, PA and/or Northampton County, PA. Opportunities are for per-diem independent contract work that is flexible and convenient.
Pay:
$85/hr.
Qualifications:
Current PA SLP license One year of pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities:
To provide individualized speech services to children 0-3 To actively engage with families and educate them on recommendations/strategies Maintain accurate documentation
