Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current, active SLP license and certification (CCC-SLP) Prior experience working in school settings highly preferred Proficiency in assessments, development of IEP goals, and progress monitoring Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to develop rapport with students, educators, and families Committed to fostering inclusivity and supporting diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans Deliver therapy sessions to students both individually and in groups Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other staff to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation Educate and provide resources to families and staff related to communication strategies Adjust interventions as needed based on student progress and goals This full-time contract role offers a chance to make a significant impact in students lives right away, with a supportive environment and manageable caseload.
