  • School-Based Position Summary As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist serving low-incidence students, you will provide specialized evaluations, direct therapy services, and consultation to support students with significant physical, neurological, and multiple disabilities.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams to develop and implement individualized services that promote student access to the educational environment and support participation in school-based activities. Responsibilities # Schedule / Shift
  • Shift details: School-based; schedule to be determined

Key Duties:
  • Provide speech, language, communication, and hearing services in individual, small-group, and classroom settings
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Develop, implement, and annually review IEPs; participate in Child Study Team meetings and parent conferences
  • Maintain accurate records, therapy data, evaluations, reports, and required documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, outside agencies, and related service providers; recommend assistive technology and communication supports as needed Requirements # Education
  • Required:
    Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field # Licenses & Certifications

Required:
Valid Pennsylvania Educational Services Certificate and Speech Language Specialist board license
Skills:
  • Ability to evaluate, provide therapy, and develop strategies for the prevention and remediation of speech, language, and hearing disorders
  • Knowledge of child development, learning assessment, diagnosis, special education requirements, and current regulations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
