Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role providing vital teletherapy and on-site speech-language services to elementary students for the remainder of the school year. Utilize your expertise in pediatric communication disorders, guiding young learners to reach their full potential within a supportive educational environment. This full-time position offers opportunities to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families while making a direct impact on the students' daily lives.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active or eligible Pennsylvania SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Skilled in teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery Exceptional communication and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Demonstrated commitment to providing inclusive, student-centered care
Role Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for elementary students with a variety of speech and language needs Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, services provided, and compliance with state/federal guidelines Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies Adapt therapy materials and approaches for both in-person and teletherapy formats Foster a positive and encouraging therapeutic environment This full-time assignment offers a valuable opportunity to hone your skills in both traditional and teletherapy modalities, ensuring students continue to receive essential services throughout the academic year.
