Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure and appropriate clearances to practice as a SLP in schools CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates with school-based experience also considered Experience with IEP development, implementation, and documentation Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities Enthusiasm for working in diverse educational settings with a collaborative team approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students' speech and language abilities Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions Support students with articulation, language, voice, and fluency needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student progress Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed Provide guidance and resources for classroom staff regarding student communication needs Take advantage of a supportive environment while helping students thrive.
