Header Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will play a vital role in enhancing communication skills and improving the quality of life for children with speech and language challenges. This rewarding position involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful care. Whether working in early intervention or the clinical setting, you will be at the forefront of developmental intervention and ongoing support for pediatric populations. Your expertise will help children overcome speech impairments and foster their ability to connect confidently with others. Header Duties Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations tailored to pediatric patients, including early intervention assessments for infants and toddlers. Develop, implement, and monitor personalized speech-language therapy plans that address specific communication needs. Deliver engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to improve articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and fluency. Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and support ongoing progress. Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while adhering to confidentiality standards. Educate families about speech and language development milestones, therapeutic strategies, and home practice activities to reinforce progress outside sessions. Skills Extensive knowledge of pediatrics, early intervention strategies, and developmental milestones related to speech and language acquisition. Proven experience working with children with speech impairments, language delays, or disabilities in clinical or school settings. Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to speech production and swallowing functions. Ability to perform comprehensive speech and language assessments utilizing standardized tools and clinical observations. Skilled in designing effective speech-language therapy plans tailored to individual needs across diverse pediatric populations. Excellent parent collaboration skills to foster supportive relationships and ensure active participation in therapy goals. Familiarity with medical terminology related to communication disorders and multidisciplinary collaboration in speech-language pathology.

$26.00 - $40.00 per hour
