Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Step into a vibrant elementary school setting and make a direct impact as a contract Speech Language Pathologist. You'll support students' communication needs and collaborate with an enthusiastic educational team to promote academic and social success. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys helping young learners find their voice.

Your Role:

Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary students, addressing a range of communication challenges. Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Work with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support each student's goals. Monitor and document student progress, keeping detailed records and making recommendations as needed. Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team discussions. Provide engaging and innovative therapy sessions that foster skill development. Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for all learners.

What We're Looking For:

Valid credential as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CFY considered). Experience in a school-based setting is preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. Passion for working with elementary-aged students. Ability to commit to staff hours from 8:20 am to 3:45 pm. Prepared to start for the first teacher day (8/24), with students arriving on 8/31.
