Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant. This contract opportunity offers the chance to use your expertise to help young learners communicate more effectively and thrive in their school environment. Working within a dedicated school team, you'll make a meaningful difference with each day.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent (for SLP or CFY) Valid Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility (SLP, SLP-CFY, SLPA) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome Pediatric and/or prior school-based experience is a plus Ability to work collaboratively with educators, staff, and families Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Assess and identify speech, language, and communication needs of elementary students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy, both individually and in groups Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to maximize student success Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Create a positive, engaging therapeutic atmosphere tailored to diverse student needs Experience the satisfaction of fostering student growth and building essential skills within a supportive school setting.
