A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) on a full-time, onsite contract for the upcoming school year.

Two outstanding opportunities are available:

one serving Preschool/Early Intervention students and another supporting K-8 learners. Both roles offer a rewarding blend of professional growth and a chance to be a trusted resource for children, families, and school teams.

What We're Looking For:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure Previous school-based experience preferred but not required Strong communication skills and an empathetic approach Flexibility and adaptability to diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and families Maintain and document thorough, compliant records and progress notes Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning Participate in school-based activities, workshops, and professional development as needed Consult, coach, and collaborate with staff to ensure carryover of speech and language strategies in classroom settings
