A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

School Year Snapshot:

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to work 5 days per week with school age students for the 2026-27 school year. Incentives Available!

YES! Job Summary A Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) provides school-based speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12. This role focuses on improving communication, language development, and classroom participation through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students (K-12) Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success Complete required documentation , including: Progress notes Data collection IEP updates and annual reviews Participate in IEP meetings as needed Perform case management duties when assigned Provide AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication) consultation as needed Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements:

Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program CCC-SLP (ASHA Certification) required Active Pennsylvania SLP License Valid Educational/Instructional Certificate (PA) Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
