Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity available for dedicated professionals passionate about supporting K-12 students in an engaging school-based environment. This full-time, onsite contract position offers three distinct caseloads: elementary, middle (6th-8th grade), and high school. Your expertise in either Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Physical Therapy (PT) for school-aged children will help transform student outcomes. The assignment spans 35 hours per week with an immediate start and continues through June 10, 2027.
What You'll Bring:
Active Pennsylvania licensure and eligibility to complete all required state clearances Previous experience in a school setting and familiarity with K-12 caseloads Strong background working with students in urban communities Capability to work between the hours of 7:15AM and 4PM without schedule modifications Reliable transportation for daily onsite responsibilities Comfort and professionalism adapting to district expectations and location needs Commitment to collaborating closely with school teams for optimal student progress
What You'll Do:
Provide high-quality, onsite services tailored to the developmental and educational needs of students in your assigned caseload Assess, develop, and implement effective therapy plans, goals, and interventions Maintain accurate documentation and manage casefiles in compliance with district and regulatory standards Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication, mobility, and participation Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable input Demonstrate flexibility and organization skills while serving diverse student populations Three openings are available, each with its own unique caseload: elementary, middle, or high school.
