9670434-19063 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in grades K-4 as a School Speech-Language Pathologist! Make a meaningful impact working with young learners, helping them build vital communication and language skills that set them up for academic and social success. This flexible position welcomes both full-time and part-time availability, with an immediate start date and the chance to continue through June 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or CFY status Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders Ability to collaborate well with teachers, parents, and support staff Excellent organizational and communication abilities Passion for nurturing and advocating for young students
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K4 students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain required records Partner closely with classroom teachers and other special education staff Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding student progress Participate in team meetings, professional development, and multi-disciplinary collaborations Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
