Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services within an elementary school setting. This vital role will support students' communication needs as part of a dedicated educational team. The assignment is located near Media, PA, with specific dates: staff begin on 8/24 and students return on 8/31. Staff hours are Monday through Friday, 8:20 AM to 3:45 PM.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows considered Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable Familiarity with IEP processes and providing both individual and group therapy sessions Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs Deliver therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals Collaborate with classroom teachers and other special education staff to support student success Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and compliance requirements Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based team activities as needed Provide timely communication with parents and guardians on student progress and needs This is an excellent chance to make a real impact on young learners' communication success in a supportive school community.
