Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students and helping them achieve their communication goals this school year. This contract Speech-Language Pathologist position focuses on providing therapeutic services to a dynamic school community, working closely with children from diverse backgrounds. You'll have the chance to use your expertise to make a meaningful difference for students while collaborating with educators and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or educational setting Strong knowledge of assessments, treatment planning, and development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and school staff
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language assessments to identify students' needs and develop targeted intervention plans Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, focusing on articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations Consult with teachers and parents to support classroom learning and integrate therapy goals Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and help create strategies that foster students' academic and social success Enjoy the benefits of a contract position that lets you focus on your passion for helping children succeed in school.
