Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing speech therapy services through teletherapy and onsite support is required for several classrooms serving students with diverse learning needs. This contract opportunity involves delivering specialized speech-language pathology (SLP) services in a school setting located in New Oxford, PA.

Key responsibilities include:

Offering speech therapy services to 56 students across three classrooms: two Autistic Support classrooms and one Learning Support group Supporting students at multiple school sites within the region, including classrooms at high schools with varying needs Providing either onsite services as an SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or combining teletherapy SLP services with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to meet the program requirements Collaborating with education staff to create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' communication goals Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to program and regulatory standards Desired qualifications and experience: Current PA Speech-Language Pathology certification and valid teaching certification Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered with supervisory arrangements in place Experience in school-based speech therapy, including working with autistic and learning support students Familiarity with teletherapy techniques and procedures, especially when working in a team with an SLPA Ability to follow state and program guidelines for telepractice and onsite care delivery This contract position is scheduled from the present until the end of May 2027 and requires coordination with educational leadership and service coordinators.
