Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics, located in Norristown, PA. This role focuses on delivering speech and language therapy services within a school setting, working closely with children to support their communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess students' needs. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to pediatric populations. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and compliance with school policies. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student goals and outcomes.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience delivering pediatric speech therapy services, preferably within educational settings. Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders common among school-aged children. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and school staff.
