Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support in a school setting in the Pittston, PA area. This contract role offers 35 hours per week with flexibility to consider part-time candidates. The assignment begins ASAP and continues until August 7, 2026, covering maternity leaves in Lackawanna County initially, then supporting itinerant students in the Dunmore, PA area during the spring.
Key qualifications include:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Active Pennsylvania SLP licensure Experience working in school-based settings Ability to obtain and maintain Pennsylvania clearances for school employment Reliable transportation is essential for traveling between locations Responsibilities include: Delivering evaluation, diagnosis, and individualized therapy services to students in accordance with school district guidelines Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services rendered Participating in team meetings and professional development sessions as required This position requires onsite work with no teletherapy options allowed.
