Description Logoplaste USA Inc., Pittson, PA seeks Production Manager - Leading and supervising 16 direct reports, assigning daily work plans, establishing shift schedules, and monitoring performance outcomes and training employees to perform specific machine operations and mold changes and develop processes and utility control sheets to validate the consistency of production process. Conducting performance evaluations, identifying high-potential staff, and making recommendations for hiring, promotions, and disciplinary action. Ensuring equipment is maintained in compliance including Injection machines, Compression machines and auxiliaries equipment and ensuring all production staff are properly trained in Logoplaste's proprietary processes, safety protocols, and quality standards. Utilitizing technical expertise to ensure each project lifecycle is efficiently executed in accordance with company's design approach and control methods to include use of software technologies, including injection simulator, to ensure the precision, technical specification and highest quality standards in the production process while maintaining accountability of all subordinates to meet production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and plant objectives. Developing and executing plant production schedules in alignment with corporate KPIs and client demand by managing the production floor concerning personnel, equipment performance, finished goods and quality metrics in injection molding and injection molding areas. Implementing Logoplaste's global policies on occupational health and safety, quality control, and environmental compliance across all production lines. Overseeing allocation of staff, equipment, and raw materials to ensure optimal resource utilization. Collaborating with senior executives on operational budgets, cost-control strategies, and long-term production planning. Leading initiatives to improve plant efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize workflows through use of Lean and Six Sigma practices, quality systems and standards to improve company's KPI's. Coordinating with engineering and quality departments to resolve production issues, ensure adherence to client specifications, and guarantee on-time delivery surrounding the entire preform injection process as it relates to injection molding and plastics production. Acting as the primary managerial point of contact for production-related client audits and site visits, ensuring customer satisfaction with plant output through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner. Ensuring plastics production processes and modification activities follow company's regulatory requirements including Safety, Production, Quality, Customer requirements and Law driving a culture of safety and compliance, introducing preventive programs to reduce accidents and maintain regulatory certification. Requires four (4) yrs. experience in Job Offered or related. Experience must have included at least two (2) yrs. in each of the following Plastics packaging industry experience including the entire preform injection process as it relates to injection molding and plastics production; Ensuring plastics production processes and modification activities follow company's regulatory requirements including Safety, Production, Quality, Customer requirements and Law; Utilizing technical expertise to ensure each project lifecycle is efficiently executed in accordance with company's design approach and control methods to include use of software technologies, including injection simulator, to ensure the precision, technical specification and highest quality standards in the production process; Ensuring that all equipment is maintained in compliance including Injection machines, Compression machines and auxiliaries equipment; Leading on-going manufacturing and process control, auditing and testing improvement projects, utilizing injection molding principles to enhance the efficiency and productivity of production process coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner; Managing the production floor concerning personnel, equipment performance, finished goods and quality metrics in injection molding and injection molding areas;; Training employees to perform specific machine operations and mold changes and develop processes and utility control sheets to validate the consistency of production process; and Use and implementation of Lean manufacturing techniques, quality systems and standards to improve company's KPI's.
