Overview Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - PRN- HOme Health Care Pottsville, PA Looking for Daylight Hours, Flexibility, and Meaningful Patient Care? Advantage Home Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing Home Health team. If you're looking for the flexibility of a PRN schedule while making a real difference in patients' lives, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll enjoy the autonomy of managing your schedule, providing one-on-one care in patients' homes, and helping individuals regain strength, mobility, and independence where they are most comfortable. Responsibilities What You'll Do Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist in accordance with physician orders and individualized plans of care.
  • Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and overall functional abilities.
  • Implement treatment plans designed to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  • Document patient treatments, responses, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with Physical Therapists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and home programs.
  • Communicate changes in patient condition and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Pennsylvania.
  • Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Home health experience preferred, but not required.
