9470630-19468 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to bright and enthusiastic 8th and 9th graders. This role covers a maternity leave, extending from mid-April through December 2026, and is an ideal fit for a school-based SLP who excels in pediatric populations and is passionate about helping students reach their communication goals. Youll work regular daytime hours, Monday through Friday, 7:25 AM to 3:00 PM, for a total of 35 hours per week. This schedule allows for meaningful connections with students and professional collaboration, all within a supportive educational setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations, preferably in grades 89 Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and therapy documentation Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills Commitment to evidence-based therapy and fostering a positive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in grades 8 and 9 Conduct assessments, interpret results, and collaborate on IEP development Document student progress and adapt therapy interventions as needed Engage in regular communication with parents, teachers, and related staff Support inclusive practices and promote student success in academic and social settings
