9689472-17538 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract-based role beginning as soon as possible and extending through at least January 15th, 2027. This full-time assignment offers the chance to positively impact communication abilities, educational outcomes, and confidence for a vibrant student population. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong commitment to student development, adaptability in a school setting, and solid collaboration skills for effective partnership with educators and families.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid SLP license or eligibility for practice in Pennsylvania ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or qualifications as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) Background in school-based speech-language therapy, especially with high school-aged learners Strong assessment, documentation, and progress monitoring skills Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Experience with individualized education plans (IEPs) and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement targeted therapy plans tailored to high school students unique needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and accommodations Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and student progress Provide direct and consultative services to support academic achievement and personal growth This position promises a rewarding experience for those passionate about making an impact, with the opportunity to engage in meaningful work with students and professional peers.
