Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a contract speech-language pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This flexible contract position is perfect for a dedicated SLP ready to make an impact with elementary and potentially older students in a supportive school setting. With the upcoming school calendar yet to be finalized, the assignment is anticipated to follow a typical academic year schedule—starting in late August and concluding in late May or early June. Your expertise can make a real difference, all while enjoying the benefit of flexible scheduling.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP licensure for practice in Pennsylvania Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience with school-aged children preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a secondary caseload comprised primarily of elementary students, with potential to serve older elementary or secondary students as needed Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct therapy services Collaborate closely with general and special education staff, families, and other support professionals Track progress and maintain detailed documentation in accordance with legal and district policies Adjust intervention strategies based on student response and evolving needs
