Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist (Pediatrics) UPMC Pediatric Rehabilitation | Williamsport, PA Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM UPMC Pediatric Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at our 625 West Edwin Street location in Williamsport, PA . We are looking for a compassionate clinician with a passion for working with pediatric patients. Candidates with pediatric speech therapy experience and their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) are preferred; however, we will also consider an exceptional candidate completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY) .
Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow Starting Rate:
$37.48 What You'll Do Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based therapy services. Complete evaluations and prepare detailed reports with recommendations. Coordinate patient scheduling, treatment plans, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes. Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal outcomes. Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and community outreach activities. Deliver exceptional patient and family-centered care in a supportive rehabilitation environment. What We're Looking For Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility). CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply. Pediatric experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Why UPMC? Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligibility for licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification, or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams. Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records. Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Candidates who have completed the educational requirements and are actively completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply. Pediatric speech therapy experience. Active involvement in professional speech-language pathology organizations.
