Job Description

Make a difference supporting K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based contract position near York, PA. This onsite opportunity offers the chance to work closely with diverse students, providing assessment and therapy services that help children achieve their communication goals.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist Certification Teaching certification required for school-based placements Experience with pediatric populations and K-12 school caseloads preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with educators, parents, and students Ability to adapt assessment and therapy strategies to meet varying student needs Commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards
What Youll Do:
Deliver direct and consultative speech/language services to K-12 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) Evaluate students using standardized and informal assessments, diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders Design and implement evidence-based intervention plans, tailored to the specific needs of each student Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as part of a multidisciplinary team Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success in the academic environment
