A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hybrid Position Therapy Lab of OC | Orange County, CA Approximately 10 Hours per Week | $55-$65/hour Therapy Lab of OC is looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team! This is a flexible hybrid position offering a combination of virtual work, supervision, school-based responsibilities, and limited in-clinic hours.
Position Responsibilities:
Approximately 10 hours per week Attend virtual IEP meetings during school hours Provide virtual supervision of SLPAs Provide in-clinic supervision of SLPAs , as needed Complete speech and language assessments/evaluations , including evaluation reports and recommendations Complete required progress reports and other clinical/school-based documentation Develop and update appropriate speech and language goals Manage and support school-based speech and language services Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with clinical and school requirements A small in-clinic caseload may be required Potential in-person availability two days per week from approximately 3:30-6:30 PM All remaining administrative, supervisory, assessment/report-writing, and virtual responsibilities may be completed from home
Qualifications:
Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience supervising SLPAs preferred School-based experience and familiarity with IEPs, assessments, progress reporting, and special education documentation strongly preferred Strong clinical writing, communication, organization, and time-management skills Comfortable working independently in both virtual and in-person environments
Compensation:
$55-$65 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP looking for a part-time, flexible hybrid position with the ability to complete the majority of responsibilities from home while remaining connected to a supportive clinical team.
