Job Description

Category Therapy - Skilled - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role supporting students' communication and learning as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational environment. This contract opportunity covers two schools—one elementary and one middle—near Wartburg, TN, offering exposure to a wide age range and collaborative teams. Candidates will work 37.5 hours per week, making a measurable difference in a supportive, student-focused setting. Open to both onsite and VOCO (remote) professionals, including CCCs and strong CFY applicants.

Desired Qualifications:

Active Tennessee SLP credential (or eligibility for licensure) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or strong clinical background accepted Pediatric and/or school-based speech-language pathology experience preferred Skilled in evaluations, IEP development, and progress documentation Confident collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators Clear, compassionate written and verbal communication

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students in elementary and middle school settings Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Provide direct therapy (onsite or virtually if approved) Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' success in the academic environment Participate actively in IEP meetings and student support initiatives
