Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.
Pediatric speech therapy, in the homes of families right here in the Conejo Valley. Small caseloads, every hour paid including your drive time, and a seat at the table in a therapist owned practice that is opening its own clinic this year. Therapy Clubhouse is hiring a full time pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to work in home across the Conejo Valley and Ventura County. Starting December 1, 2026, when our Westlake Village clinic opens, you can move to a hybrid schedule: part of your week in our new speech rooms and sensory gym, part of it still in homes. Or stay fully in the field. That choice is yours, and we mean it. We are looking for someone who already lives here. This is a local role built around a geographically clustered caseload, not a territory you commute two hours to reach.
WHO WE ARE
Therapy Clubhouse is a pediatric speech and occupational therapy practice serving children ages 0 to 18 across the Conejo Valley and Ventura County. We deliver in home and telehealth therapy today, and our flagship Westlake Village clinic with a dedicated sensory gym opens this year. We are a contracted and vendorized Early Start provider with Tri Counties Regional Center (TCRC), and we also serve private pay families. We were founded by two clinicians who are also moms, and who still run sessions themselves: Nita Anavim, M.S., CCC-SLP, Co-Founder and Lead Speech Language Pathologist. CSUN trained (B.S. and M.S. in Communicative Disorders and Sciences), ASHA certified, California licensed, and PROMPT trained, with experience across early intervention, private practice, and school based settings. Rachel Yashouafar, MA, OTR/L, Co-Founder and Lead Occupational Therapist. USC trained (Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy) with USC Ayres Sensory Integration certification, NBCOT board certified and licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy, with experience across early intervention, in home, and clinic based pediatric care. Nita and Rachel are building a small, genuinely collaborative SLP and OT team. The SLP we hire is not filling a slot. They are a founding member of a team we are building for the long run.
THE ROLE, AND WHAT CHANGES ON DECEMBER 1
Now through November 2026: You deliver in home and telehealth pediatric speech therapy across the Conejo Valley and nearby Ventura County. You manage your own daily route inside a caseload we cluster geographically so you are not crisscrossing the county. December 1, 2026 onward: Our Westlake Village clinic opens. You can move into a hybrid schedule of clinic days and in home days, go fully clinic based, or keep doing what you are doing. We will build the schedule around you. You will evaluate and treat speech sound and articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social communication, AAC, and early communication, through play based, family centered therapy that meets each child where they are.
WHAT WE PAY
Hourly rate: $52 to $62 an hour, W-2, depending on experience and credentials. At 40 paid hours a week that works out to roughly $108,000 to $129,000 a year. Every hour is paid. Sessions, evaluations, documentation, parent coaching, and drive time between clients. You are not writing notes for free at 9pm.
Mileage:
reimbursed at the current IRS standard business rate, 76 cents per mile as of September 2026. Long distance drives are fully covered.
Health insurance:
available starting on day 91, after the 90 day introductory period.
Also included:
workers compensation, California paid sick leave, and overtime.
Growth track:
a salaried and benefited path as caseloads stabilize and the clinic opens.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in the home, by telehealth, and from December 2026 in our clinic. Build individualized treatment plans matched to each child's goals and developmental stage. Deliver engaging, play based therapy grounded in evidence based early intervention practice. Coach families and caregivers so progress carries over between sessions. Keep documentation timely, accurate, and compliant. Run your own daily route within a geographically clustered caseload. Collaborate with our SLP and OT team, and help shape clinic programming as we grow.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You live in or near the Conejo Valley or Ventura County. Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Oak Park, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Camarillo, Oxnard, or Ventura. We are hiring from this community. You are genuinely willing to drive to families' homes. Reliable car, comfortable working out of it, and you see the value in treating a child in the room where they actually live. We pay your drive time and your miles, and we cluster your caseload, but this is a driving job. You like the in home model, or you are curious enough about it to try. Some of the best therapy happens on a family's living room floor. You want to help build something. We are early. There are still decisions to make about programming, materials, and how the clinic runs, and you will have a real voice in them.

Employment is contingent on verification of your license, background check, TB clearance, and work authorization.
