If you have a background in speech-language pathology and enjoy working with diverse student populationsincluding those with more severe needsthis role provides the chance to deliver impactful services in a supportive educational environment. There is potential flexibility for a hybrid work model, offering a blend of in-person and remote services.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Prior experience with school-based populations, especially secondary (middle to high school) students Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs and adapting interventions for students with severe speech, language, or communication challenges Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in middle and high school settings Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Deliver therapeutic services individually or in small groups, both in-person and virtually as needed Provide consultation and training for teachers and families regarding communication strategies and needs Maintain accurate records and compliance with all district and state documentation requirements Youll have the chance to create positive, lasting impacts while working alongside passionate educators and support staff.
