Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school near Albemarle, NC. This onsite position seeks three skilled SLPs to provide essential services through the end of the current school year, with start dates as soon as possible. Youll play a key role in helping children achieve their full communication potential, working within a collaborative school environment. Candidates who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), current SLP licensure, or are completing their Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) are encouraged to apply. Highly qualified SLPAs may also be considered. A flexible, hybrid schedule may be available for those who require it, and those open to travel assignments will find a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (required for
SLP/SLP-CF
; SLPAs welcome) Valid state licensure or eligibility CCC-SLP, SLP-CF, or SLPA considered Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings a plus Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Assess and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for elementary students Develop tailored treatment plans and provide individual or group therapy sessions Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, sessions, and progress Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with regulatory requirements Adapt to changing caseloads and school needs as assignments are finalized Youll enjoy a position that values your clinical expertise while offering flexibility and a supportive atmosphere.
