Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference every day supporting students' communication growth in a vibrant educational setting near San Marcos, TX. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist eager to work onsite, with the option for a hybrid schedule for added flexibility. You'll be an essential partner in helping students develop essential speech and language skills, working within a collaborative and supportive team. Spanish bilingual SLPs are encouraged to apply to further enrich support for students and families.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP license, or eligibility, for the state of Texas CCC-SLP certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Bilingual proficiency in Spanish required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to thrive working with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, tailored to meet student needs Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student progress Maintain accurate records and progress reports in line with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams Support the implementation of culturally responsive practices in a bilingual setting Enjoy a role that offers immediate interview and placement opportunities.
