Job Description

Step into an enriching opportunity providing speech-language services to elementary students in a dynamic school setting. This contract position, starting as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year, places you at the heart of supporting communication and development in young learners. Opportunities exist for both travelers and those seeking hybrid arrangements, and consideration will be given to SLPAs and SLP-CFs as well as experienced SLP-CCCs.
Desired Qualifications:
Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong new graduates or assistants will be considered Experience or enthusiasm for working in K-5 or elementary school settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to adapt to caseload and school assignments as determined
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students, providing support for a variety of communication challenges Conduct evaluations and assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance requirements Participate in meetings and provide input on student progress and interventions Adapt to changing needs, caseload assignments, and setting requirements within the school community
