Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in students lives by providing expert speech and language services during the 2026-2027 school year in vibrant Prince William County. This contract opportunity places you in supportive educational settings across the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas, working closely with students and staff to foster communication success. Bring your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to a dedicated school community! Youll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to help students reach their greatest potential. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through June 12, 2027, with a steady 35 hours per week on an engaging, productive schedule.
Key Qualifications:
Current VA Speech-Language Pathologist license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong CFY candidates welcome Previous school setting experience is a plus Ability to work exclusively onsite (remote/virtual options are not available) Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to providing evidence-based, student-centered services
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Monitor student progress and meticulously document treatment outcomes Support IEP meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives to enhance student communication
