9489342-33971 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist in the vibrant Lehigh Acres and Fort Myers area. Full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) and part-time options are available across multiple school locations, with flexibility to combine sites into a single FTE assignment. This on-site position begins August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering meaningful direct impact throughout the school year.

What Were Looking For:

Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology Active Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or valid Florida teacher certification Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred Ability to manage diverse caseloads; adapt to varying school site needs Clear communication and strong organizational skills Must complete fingerprinting per state requirements (transfers and verifications accommodated through AHCA Clearinghouse and JLA badge process) Committed to on-site workremote/virtual options are not available

Primary Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct speech/language therapy services to students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports according to district policies Serve as a resource on speech-language concerns across multiple school campuses Engage in professional development and follow best practices in the field Make a difference for students by sharing your expertise in an environment that values your skills and supports your professional growth.
