Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Discover an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students while exploring the beautiful surroundings near Kasilof, Alaska. We are seeking enthusiastic speech-language pathologists (SLPs) for multiple full-time, contract positions, available for the full school year. This rewarding travel role allows you to work on-site within a highly supportive district that values your expertise and commitment to student success. Open to both certified SLPs (CCC or CFY) and dedicated SLPAs, these positions offer the chance to collaborate with local educators and help students find their voice. Assignments are available in the Southern, Central, and Eastern Peninsula areas.
Key Qualifications:
Hold (or be eligible for) SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credentials. Passionate about working in school-based settings. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Previous experience in educational or pediatric environments is a plus. Willingness to work onsite; remote/virtual (VOCO) roles are not available.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse student population. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the school team. Conduct assessments, write reports, and maintain meticulous records. Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
