Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students throughout the academic year, providing Speech-Language Pathology services at school sites near San Marcos, TX. You'll collaborate with educators and a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, student-centered environment focused on success for learners from preschool through high school and beyond.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Valid Texas license (or eligibility for licensure) in Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Comfortable working with a caseload of approximately 60 students Capable of serving diverse grade levels (PK-12), with assignments matching strengths and preferences Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to determine students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Deliver speech and language therapy onsite across assigned campuses (not accepting virtual/remote work) Monitor progress and maintain accurate records in line with school guidelines Consult with staff and parents to support each student's educational goals Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities Travel between 1-2 campuses as needed (assignments based on preference and strengths) What to
