Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an elementary school team in Bastrop, Texas. The SLP will provide direct speech therapy services, complete evaluations, and support students through the special education process. The current caseload is approximately 50 students. The school has facilitators who coordinate and run IEP meetings, allowing the SLP to focus on providing clinical expertise and supporting student progress. Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy Complete speech and language evaluations Attend IEP meetings coordinated by school facilitators Maintain updated student progress information Develop and write new goals as appropriate Collaborate with educators and other school staff to support student needs Hybrid Flexibility This position offers a hybrid work-from-home option of up to 2 days per week when the SLP is current on required therapy minutes and evaluations and has no in-person meetings scheduled.
