Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving communication and swallowing abilities for patients across diverse settings, with a special focus on pediatrics and early intervention. Your expertise will help individuals of all ages achieve their fullest potential through personalized speech therapy services. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders using established clinical protocols and medical terminology. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on speech therapy techniques and early intervention strategies. Provide engaging therapy sessions for pediatric patients, addressing issues related to speech delays, articulation, fluency, and language development. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators—to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes. Educate patients and their families about communication strategies, physiology of speech mechanisms, and anatomy knowledge relevant to therapy goals. Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and assessments in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay current with advances in physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and best practices in patient care to ensure high-quality service delivery. Experience Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience providing speech therapy services to pediatric populations, including early intervention programs. Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions. Proven ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology is essential for accurate documentation and interdisciplinary communication. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care is advantageous. $75.00 - $95.00 per hour
