Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse pediatric populations. Your expertise will help children develop essential speech, language, and social skills, fostering their confidence and independence. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients, including evaluating speech sound production, language comprehension, social communication skills, and swallowing functions Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs, incorporating evidence-based therapy techniques Provide engaging therapy sessions focused on improving speech clarity, language development, voice modulation, fluency, and social communication skills Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, occupational therapists, and medical/school staff—to coordinate care strategies and support intervention initiatives Educate families and caregivers on strategies to reinforce therapy goals at home, school and in daily activities Participate in IEP meetings Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, session notes, treatment plans, and assessment results in compliance with regulatory standards Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices by participating in ongoing professional development Experience Previous school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly preferred but not required Demonstrated expertise in pediatrics with a focus on early intervention programs is desirable Proven ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment strategies tailored to individual needs Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care is advantageous Join us in making a difference by empowering children through effective communication!
