Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by supporting their academic and emotional growth. This contract position offers the opportunity to work as a School Psychologist, providing essential services for students from PreK through 12th grade. Key Qualifications:
Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist. Experience working with students in PreK-12 educational settings. Strong background in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, creating and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and progress monitoring. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations and assessments for a diverse student population to identify learning or behavioral needs. Participate actively in the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Develop and monitor Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) to support positive student behavior. Provide ongoing progress monitoring for students receiving special education services. Work closely with educational teams to recommend interventions, accommodations, and strategies. Serve as a resource to staff and families, offering guidance on students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
