Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across all grade levels as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Cardington, OH. In this role, you'll make a direct impact by providing speech and language services to a diverse K-12 caseload, working collaboratively with educators and families to support student success.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license in Ohio Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience with K-12 students in an educational environment Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt interventions to meet varying student needs
Core Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade Assess, screen, and evaluate students to determine eligibility and therapy needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as part of a multidisciplinary team Document services, maintain accurate records, and track student progress toward goals Offer guidance and consultation to teachers, staff, and parents regarding speech/language support Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development This role offers a full-time schedule at 37.5 hours per week, giving you a consistent and engaging workweek while supporting a dynamic school community.
