Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will play a vital role in enhancing communication abilities and improving quality of life for diverse patient populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults across various settings, including schools, clinics, and telehealth platforms. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful speech and language interventions. Your expertise will help unlock potential and foster meaningful communication for every patient you serve. Responsibilities Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to identify impairments and determine appropriate treatment strategies Develop and implement personalized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs, including early intervention programs for pediatric populations Deliver engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques across in-person and telehealth platforms to maximize accessibility and effectiveness Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care plans and consistent progress monitoring Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment progress, and session notes within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Educate families and caregivers on speech-language strategies to support ongoing development at home or in educational settings Stay current with advances in physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and best practices in speech-language pathology to provide high-quality care Skills Proven experience working with pediatric populations, including early intervention programs and school-based settings Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques for individuals with speech impairments, language delays, or disabilities Ability to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized assessments Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and experience delivering remote services effectively Excellent collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams including educators, physicians, and other therapists Knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions Experience working with geriatric patients or individuals with complex medical needs is a plus Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology practice Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse populations including those with disabilities or developmental delays Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference! Pay:
$50.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 28.0 per week
