Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with individuals, particularly children, to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. This role is essential in providing early intervention services and supporting patients in achieving their communication goals. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to create effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of speech and language abilities in patients, focusing on both verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, incorporating evidence-based practices. Provide direct speech therapy services to patients in various settings, including schools and clinical environments. Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate families and caregivers about communication disorders and strategies to support their loved ones at home. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share insights regarding patient progress. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards. Skills . Strong patient care skills to foster a supportive therapeutic environment. Knowledge of pediatric speech therapy techniques and best practices. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology. Proficient understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech production. Excellent patient assessment skills for identifying specific communication challenges. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
