May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

E-Therapy, powered by Edustaff, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year in Youngstown, Ohio . This hybrid opportunity offers the flexibility of four days onsite and one hybrid day each week while working with a collaborative special education team to support students' communication success.

2026-2027 Caseload Caseload assignments are currently being finalized. All assignments are made in accordance with the Ohio Operating Standards for the Education of Children with Disabilities and adhere to the state's required workload and caseload guidelines. Responsibilities Conduct speech and language evaluations. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals. Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Participate in IEP meetings and maintain timely, compliant documentation. Support students using evidence-based intervention strategies across a variety of communication needs. Preferred Experience Experience working with students who use: Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices Assistive Technology Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Schedule Daily start and end times vary depending on the assigned school building. SLPs develop their daily schedules based on their building assignment while maintaining a 37.5-hour workweek .
