Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Who We Are Green Family Therapies is a family-centered, holistic practice supporting children's development from root to bloom. We're looking for a Supervising Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-home team, mentoring SLPAs and overseeing pediatric speech therapy for children 0-12 . This part-time role is ideal for school-based SLPs looking for meaningful supplemental hours after their school day. What We're Looking For Current California SLP license, CCC-SLP required Experience supervising SLPAs or clinical fellows Reliable transportation Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit Experience in early intervention, parent coaching, or child-led therapy models Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required What You'll Do Provide speech and language therapy evaluations (and some therapy) for toddlers and young children (ages 0-12) remotely and at our clinic in La Verne Supervise and mentor SLPAs, offering face-to-face training and clinical guidance Collaborate with caregivers to support language-rich routines and meaningful home practice Guide play-based treatment planning around family goals and client interests Review documentation and progress notes for supervised staff Participate in regular interdisciplinary meetings with our SLP and OT team Support the clinical growth of early-career clinicians on your team Benefits Include Competitive hourly rate Paid sick time 401k Paid drive time and mileage reimbursement Late-cancellation and no-show reimbursement Paid admin time Flexible scheduling A workplace culture that honors balance, inclusion, and clinical integrity
