Job Description

Overview Flexible scheduling, ideal for someone looking for light supplemental income! We are seeking a 1099 Speech Therapist to provide school-based services on a VERY part-time basis (~1-3 hours per week). This role is to provide IEP services for one student with medical needs. Duties Provide speech-language pathology services for one student with individualized needs in a school setting. Conduct or review evaluations as needed and develop/update the student's speech and language goals and services. Deliver direct and compensatory therapy sessions (frequency determined by the IEP). Provide consultative support to the teacher and staff to help the student access the curriculum and school environment. Address articulation, receptive/expressive language, social communication, fluency, and functional communication skills as appropriate. Document therapy sessions and progress notes in accordance with school and state requirements. Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with the educational team and family. Recommend classroom accommodations, communication supports, or adaptive tools tailored to the student's needs. Requirements Valid Ohio speech-language pathology license Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for certification. Experience working with children or in a school setting. Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families. Strong communication and documentation skills. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Able to work very part-time (approximately 1-3 hours per week) . Ability to pass required school or district background checks.

Pay:

$58.00 - $62.00 per hour
