About Us:
A Pediatric Evolution, LLC. (APE) is an integrative pediatric therapy clinic dedicated to supporting young children's development through a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach. Our team includes Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Play based counselors who work together to enhance functional skills, independence, and communication. We prioritize parent education, participation, and empowerment throughout the therapy process.
Position Overview:
APE is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a Contract. The ideal candidate will work in our Johnston, RI clinic, providing high-quality care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to support children's communication and developmental needs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct brief and comprehensive speech-language evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans and goals Maintain and manage a therapy caseload Provide direct therapy services in a clinic setting Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (SLPs, OTs, LMHCs, and LICSWs) Recommend and support the use of AAC systems or other communication devices Train staff and families on communication strategies and tools Engage and communicate regularly with families to promote carryover of skills at home
Qualifications:
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required RI State License in Speech-Language Pathology required Clinical experience with young children and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams Familiarity with AAC devices and communication systems Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language development Ability to educate and support families and caregivers Experience in acute care or pediatric clinical settings is a plus

Contract Wednesdays and/or Saturdays Located at our Johnston, RI clinic Flexible hours and family-friendly scheduling options
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience and education ($55-$60) 1099 Contract position Wednedays and/or
Saturdays Pay:
$56.00 - $60.00 per hour
