Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders primarily with children diagnosed with autism. Our clinic wants to have a collaborative partnership to improve communication skills and quality of life for children. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, implement personalized speech-language therapy plans, and utilize telehealth platforms to reach patients in various settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through innovative therapy techniques and compassionate patient care. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and adult patients, including early intervention assessments for children Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment strategies Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to document patient progress accurately and efficiently Provide therapy sessions via telehealth platforms or in-person settings, adapting techniques for remote delivery Educate patients and their families on speech and language development, exercises, and strategies to support ongoing progress Stay current with medical terminology, physiology knowledge, anatomy insights, and best practices in speech-language pathology Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant jurisdiction Experience working with children in pediatrics or early intervention programs Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop effective treatment plans Knowledge of anatomy, physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions Experience working with individuals with speech impairments or disabilities Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology Experience delivering telehealth therapy sessions effectively and comfortably using telecommunication technology Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Feeding therapy experience Excellent communication skills for parent collaboration and patient education Join us in transforming lives through impactful communication! Pay:
$45.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
